Come Across the Cannes Festival of 2023
Cannes is one of the biggest international film festivals held yearly in Cannes, France. This year’s Cannes Fest is the 76th celebration and is taking place from the 16th to the 27th of May, 2023.
This annual festival is filled with films, fashion, fun, and frolic. Each year, new films and documentaries of various categories are submitted for screening at Cannes. From thousands, the top few make it to the prestigious screening ceremony among the biggest celebrities in the world. Moreover, there are prizes for the best pieces in each category, with the ‘Golden Palm’ being the highest honour.
Naturally, this festival is a performance of art in itself, with popular faces participating from across the globe. It is a celebration of entertainment and elegance.

1. Sara Ali Khan
Sara Ali Khan stepped into Cannes on Day one, looking like a regal Indian princess. Her Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla ensemble was enchanted with Indian exquisiteness. As a debutant, her appearance allured all of us and made quite an impact.
The surreal lehenga was an entirely hand-embroidered masterpiece with intricate shadow work. With pearls, Resham work, and crystals, the radiant set was one never seen before at Cannes.
Her second look was also a stunner in its own modern yet Indian way. The monochrome saree and bralette, draped by Dolly Jain, spoke for itself.
2. Mrunal Thakur
Mrunal Thakur’s Cannes debut was also nothing less than breathtaking.
The Sita Ramam-star stole the show with a white flowy and ruffled gown. Thakur was stunning in her risqué but ravishing custom-made Falguni Shane attire.
The ivory-coloured gown made her seem like an angel at Cannes.
3. Esha Gupta
One of India’s beloved Bollywood queens – Esha Gupta, was dressed to impress at Cannes 2023. Her Nicholas Jebran SS23 couture white gown made heads turn. Esha displayed her chic sense of style with this outfit while totally adhering to the grandiosity of the festival.
The flowers, the ivory, the neckline, the slit! Esha’s look at Cannes ate and left no crumbs.
4. Urvashi Rautela
Urvashi Rautela is making a new statement each day with her unique looks on the Cannes red carpet. We saw Rautela rocking a Barbie-core pink tulle gown by Sima Couture with a luxury statement crocodile neckpiece.
Day two for Urvashi was a ruffly orange layered gown.
She went into day 3 with a pop of blue. Her statement on day 3 was a bejewelled ice princess look with blue lips.

5. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is undoubtedly the Indian queen and one of the prestigious guests at the Cannes Festival.
Miss World 1994 entered the red carpet in a glam getup. Her dramatic silver hooded gown and big black bow took the style world by storm. With the silvery embellishments, she outshone everyone else.
6. Manushi Chhillar
From Miss World 1994 to Miss World 2017, India really did take away all the looks at the 2023 Cannes Festival. As a debutant, Miss Chhillar embraced the arena with sophistication in her white corset gown by Fovari.
She also left us spellbound with her looks in blue. A pastel blue whimsical dress and a blue backless slip dress won hearts at Cannes this year.
7. Vijay Varma
